Man hands his wife over to a bill collector to satisfy a debt 
A man from Romania gave his wife to a creditor to satisfy his payment for a bill he owed.
Emil Iancu is the name of the husband and he is from tIghisu Nou, gave his wife named Daniela to a bill collector that came to his house to demand payment on a $2,000+ bill. 
Iancu the husband is quoted as saying: "I had no money to pay the debt and when I told Lostrie he said he would take my wife instead."
"I was scared of what he would do and so I signed a document saying Daniela would live with him."
But Daniela says the deal has proved better for her as she is quoted as saying: "Before I had to clean the house and look after our three children on my own, while Emil did nothing, but now I'm treated like a guest and hardly have to raise a finger," 
OK what is the catch?
I am not even going to comment on this one....imagine a husband that would give away his wife for payment
Seems all of these strange stories come from Croatia and Romania...
